Rack and Pinion on 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan

How much should factory parts and shop labor be? Also, how to determine if it is leaking or not?

244 for rack/pinion 4 hours in labor alignment for about 79 fluid for about 10 Roy

If the fluid level is going down and especially if there's a drip under the car, it's leaking. If you look under the front of the car, you'll see the tie-rods that connect the rack to the front wheels. If the rack's leaking, it usually leaks from the right and left ends of the steering rack where the rubber boots are on the ends of the rack where the tie-rods connect.
