Chevrolet 3500 Pickup Problem Report

Chevrolet 3500 Pickup Overheating and/or Coolant Loss Due to Leaking Quick-Connect Fitting

(14 reports)

The quick-connect fittings for the heater hoses tend to leak engine coolant. This problem commonly occurs because the metal housing has become brittle, which can break and cause leaks.

I found the problem, ordered the part through the dealer and repaired it myself. -
