1996 Oldsmobile Sihlouette van. passenger side front door motor. I'm not able to get the motor out. i need help, maybe a diagram for the passenger side front door will help.

Van shut off. Going 55 mph and wouldn't turn over i think it is the fuel pump or fuel fiter

The temperature gauge goes up chugs when it shifts hard usually when run after a little while shut it off turn it back on a few minutes later and it's fine for a little while again

My heat gauge shot up all at once and the engine hot light came on and my van shut down and wouldn't start. It never smoke and wasn't too hot. When I did get it started it would only drive in first gear. The mechanic is telling me I need my fans replaced but don't know why it would only drive in low gear. He is telling me its going to cost over $500 just for the fans. Could that be why it shot up so fast and why it would only drive in low gear and is that price for fans reasonable?

what more detail do u need?

If you can. Which number or letter would give you that information.

The pully for releasing the seat from it's posts is stuck and won't release the seat from it's station, How do I get this to release? Body shops won't mess with it, they are afraid of permanently breaking it and being held responsible to buy me a new chair if they broke it worse...

The back lights have slowly been getting worse over the past year, and now I have no reverse, tail or turn signal lights at all. I can't seem to find the wiring harness anywhere. Any suggestions??

Rpm mph dials not working

I've replaced the water pump it was leaking now the resivour is full and it is still overheating could it be the thermostat

Most of the time my wipers only work on high. Now my heater and air fan only operates on low and medium speeds. For several years the steering wheel radio controls malfunction when any button is pressed, ie; tuner or volume, causing the radio to scroll through stations for about a minute before stopping. I replaced both wiper and ac control panels with exact same results! WOW now what??&*^%_)(*
Also, the diagnosis/plug-in does not work.

Power sliding door closes, but don't want to stay closed unless assisted by hand pressure.

Passenger power side door wont close and stay closed under power. It almost closes, but then opens. I can usually make it stay closed by applying hand pressure to help.

Goes off if you ease off of the gas

Shop said, Exhausted gases in cooling system, cracked or blown head gasket(s). This after replacing seals 6 weeks prior. Took 1998 Old Silhouette Mimi van in for van running hot. Replaced seals 1500.00 . Six weeks later van doing same thing , running hot, . Without taking apart they gave above diagnoses and quoted 2500.00. If first repair was done correctly, shouldn't the second issue not of occurred ? Thank you

Brakes failed, pedal went to the floor. My mechanic said master cylinder was bad...maybe ABS pump, but he didn't *think so*. So, he bought a new master cylinder and tried to replace it, but it's still not working. He can't figure out how to reassemble it correctly. Apparently to get the ABS pump apart from the master cylinder he ended up taking the abs pump apart ...he removed the top part of the pump from the pan that has the motors sticking up....seems like he took the top half off instead of lifting the whole unit to get to the bolts that attach it to the master cylinder, so he now can't get it back together where the gears meet in the right place to have correct timing. NOW he thinks I should buy a new ABS pump (not cheap) and I'm wondering why...why did he take the part apart? did he really have to do that? can it be reassembled? did he break the pump by doing this? Any advice on how to get this back together correctly? Apparently the 1997, 98 and 99 are the only years that used this configuration where the 2 parts are so integrated. Very aggravated.....any help or advice would be appreciated.

It's been doing this for a few days, but always starts after 10-15 minutes. Today it won't though. What can it be?
