the car has a commpressor button that is turned off in the car how do I get the ac to work again
door button, key and remote will not open trunk. i cannot access trunk.
When your fuel gauge get low the light come on. When you put the fuel in there the gauge want move. Whats wrong?
the battery will not take a charge and needs replacement
I have key-less entry, and although they opened alright with touch, three of the doors would not lock on touching the handle..I took it to the dealer, who said separate items in each door needed to be replaced for $2400...For that amount, I can just use the key..However, the day I got it back, no locking worked--with the key, or from inside the vehicle...What do you think is the problem?
I need to know - what may cause the lights (including the interior cabin light & cluster lights) to flicker very slightly when the enigine is running or ideling. When both the front seat massage (pulse) are turned on than the seat massage operates for a very short while.I am guessing that all these issues are inter-related with the electrical system but, I could be wrong. Lastly, the SOFT close on one door only seems NOT to be functioning. Any suggestions????

opened trunk then started driving then light comes on says close boot with trunk light on and trunk does not shut all the way. doesn't automatically seal it's self.

the car will not start at random, but it has enough power to start. It seems like fuel is not getting to the engine. i let the car sit for a 10-15 minutes, and sometimes it starts right up. i also have a problem with the main headlights not turning off even when in the off position and also when i turn the radio on the sound setting automatically is in the rear speakers. i change the radio setting to the front, and when i turn the car off and back on, same thing happens.
Just need this info for replacement tires needed now
Just bought a 2001 S55 AMG with 67000 miles. Very clean, been maintained at BENZ dealer all along. Only issue I see so far, which I am not sure is significant, is that the temperature gauge starts normally low in the morning and then levels off around above 80 but sometimes fluctuates between 80-100 but never reaches 100. No leaks, no noises, no overheating, not sure what the ideal temperature is. Not sure if thermostat been changed.
my abc light came on..-car is stuck on lowered position and will not move up or down..-i have changed fluid/filter flush..-right front strut stuck on high position..ran code= b411 bad right front sensor..-no leaks..-do i have to change strut or is there something else that might cause it to be like that..??-valve/pump/etc..-??-please let me know..thanks..-
car sits and driver side strut comes down the car has abc, could someone please help me.
the abc is on car too low, when you put the car in reverse left side raises. when you stop the car after 1 hour left side which is driver side lowers.my abc resorvoir apears to have fluid in it and i dont see or hear any leaks . what could it be and what do i need to look at.
When I was driving the car during the winter there were not any problems with the engine temperature gauge as I had the heat on. I replaced the thermostat three times, in case that is your answer. During the summer, when I have the A/C on then I see the engine temp gauge go from 80 to 100 at idle, then when I start driving again it takes awhile for it to go back down to near 80 degrees. I am wondering if the elctric fan is bad, although I think I hear it coming on. When I turn the heat on then the temp goes down, this made me think that it was a head gasket or cracked head however, Mercedes of Annapolis checked this and they did not see any leaks, etc. They recommended checking the fan and doing a full diagnostic. However, if I can do this myself I will. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks
after my car sits for a few days the left side lowers as if there is a leak but there is nothing appearing to leak, you start it up and it rises and is fine.
the interior dashboard air conditioner lights remains lit in the off position. The air conditioner cannot be turned on .
My wifes S55 AMG battery went dead and now the auto door locks nor the auto trunk lock works. I am sure something has to be reset to have this to work but what?
I currently have a quote of 550 in parts to replace an idler pulley. From my research it seems that this part is at most $50. Am I missing something in this search?
the car is locked in park and I can't get it out of park. I am assuming it is solenoid but how hard is to remove and replace? do have a idea of cost. thank you I appreciate the help
As you turn on the engine it shows in the dashboard ABC visit workshop. It has 81,000 mileage and 75,000 mileage was done. What are the things should be done for ABC service as indicated as warning sign?
Does anyone know if the HYDRAULIC Suspension Valves on a 2001 S55 AMG are threaded within the Unit or if they have a seal/gasket. Really need to know....
my left front strut is working but it is lower then the rest about 2in wen the car is off the left front drops to the ground do i need a new srut or a flash or could it be a sencor
when i turned on the a/c or fan, the blower sometimes take 5,15, or sometimes 45mins. before start working... sometimes no problem.. what do you think is the problem? head control?, breaker? relay? 3/11/09 Thank you the blower motor was bad...
