I just need to find out how to open the hood as there is no switch of which I can easily see
I have NO audio in my car. My navigation works, the radio and cd player "look" like they work. I'm getting a message, however, stating that the phone is not available and the satellite radio is not available. All signs pointing to a fuse being out. Or more than one? I've located all the fuse boxes but the one in the rear trunk's fuses seem glued in. Is there a special tool I need to try to replace myself. Our local Mercedes dealer won't even try to walk me through it. They just want an appt. HELP!!! I am totally capable of replacing fuses and have done so previously but in a different location.
1 under the hood, 2 right dashboard need to open the door, but one is missing. DVD player doesn't work, any idea/
the car stopped while driving. can i have engine damage
my battery light came on, what is the cause?
What do you think it is
I can use the finger paddles and smoothly shift...i need to be sure the gear has wound down and it shifts smoothly...and automatically i also need to make sure the rpm's are down to allow it to go from 2-3 and then it shifts but also bucks a bit. If it were really the transmission it makes sense that it should not shift even manually? Could it be something like the drive selector module? Is that a computer part? Is it worth flushing fluid?
I can use the manual finger paddles behind the steering wheel to shift...the problem really seems to happen with 3rd gear and the automatic function. Took it to dealer who was puzzled and offered $7400 transmission replacement from Germany. Seems strange and drastic ( and EXPENSIVE!) to me...always dealer serviced and well taken care of.
Please help...could this be a recall in the making? Can it be rebuilt?
Car has had the transmission software flashed several times. seems to work for a short time. main problem is 3 to 2 and 2 to 1. 2 to 1 is the hardest downshift. Generally the transmission shifting seems erractic, slow and generally very disappointing. i have ehard that mercedes has a repair for the problem but doesn't tell the customer that it is available.
