Transmission slipping .
Car starts and runs idles a little rough but does not have any power once in gear
It will overheat within a few mins if driving, sitting it will overheat within 15-20 mins. I have replaced the thermostat. I don't see any leaks
About half the time when I change gears, there is a brief, 1 -2 second lag before engaging. While this is a 2002 car, it has less than 80,000 miles. This is the original clutch.
I tried to find used head lights found 03 had same problem found 04 had same issues all the internal adjusters had shattered
new alternator, new belt, new cables. Alt light is not on when cold, but when warm, during running randomly blinks on and off and after shut down, while warm, start it up alt light goes out, but after a few minutes it will come on and stay on. Shut vehicle off for 30 seconds , now sometime a couple times to get alt light to stay off.
i am getting errror messages on voltage bank sensor 2 and response bank sensor 1
Car temp went all the way to the right , all red lights came on.

My car just shut off while I driving at 65mph and it has never started back up again. I had to get it towed home
i just had new jag alternator put in 3 days ago and the gearbox fault light is still on! The car will not catch when I put in Drive - and whenit does, it runs very weak. I think it needs a console or a throttle body sensor? I also have a sensor light that is on on the dash.
Jag was taken to Just Brakes for back pads and rotor replacement. After work performed brakes will not release. This was not a symptom before work was done
i just bought 4 new tires and I don't know if it's the tires but lately I'm noticing the back end of car sways sometimes . While on highway I feel like the wind is blowing car and if I just yank the steeringwheel a little I'd lose control, and that car is usually very heavy and planted while driving
Had rotors pads and calipers changed. After driving for a few miles noticed vehicle engine dragging to keep speed. Vehicle was unable Touro forward or reverse without using gas. Seems all wheels calibers are engaged. ABS system checks out fine with code reader . What makes it worse is the problem is intermittent. Any ideas be helpful
Some people tell me it's the startjer and others say it's the ignition switch. Well I had a dignostics check ran on it and it said "Pressure Regulator " How much would that run me to get fixedMy car won't start. It's not the battery because I switched them with my wife's car.
I had the care looked at and there's a knocking noise to it and even louder when revving up the engine. I was told it could most likely be the Piston rod.. My question is whether it can be fixed and if so roughly around how much? A mechanic I know says it can be fixed underneath without having to take out the engine from the top..
it threaded about 1 inch and has a smaller shaft about a inch long.
I can't move it. Anytime gas is given it bogs down. It idles kind of rough. When i rev it, it will sink slow then back to idle. I am not a mechanic. What would make this happen?
