My 6th cylinder is misfiring and I don't know why. I have replaced the spark plug, plug wires, coil pack, and fuel injector and it's still misfiring. I have had it looked at by a mechanic and he told me that before the cylinder misfires there is power going to the cylinder, however after it starts to misfire it loses all power going to that cylinder. I can let the car sit for a little bit and start it up and it will run fine, as soon as I start driving and making it work that's when it misfires. What do I do? Code that comes up is P0306 I believe.
I unclipped glove box and cant see anything that resembles a pollen filter.
Do i need to take the screws out and pull the glove box completely out.?
Does this model have a cabin/pollen filter.?

I went to the trany shop and they told me that the speed sensor selenoide and the air mass flow sensor are damege thats what the diag said, he also told me that he has Too replace the clutches, wich i think he doesnt need to do that .
Another mecanic told me that the problem was transs program tha car was stop for a year and i rebuilt the motor so perhaps the trans. Needs to be reprogam
Please somebody help im scare that the mecanic want's to RIP me off because it happens alot. ( the trany works it just makes a hard bang sound that shakes the car when it changes second to therd and it happens when i drive slow only)
Everytime drive slow when it changes from second to therd it makes bang sound and the car shakes but when i drive fast it changes well and sometimes i dont have any problem i check the fluid level it's ok and i scan the car it said speed sensor selenoide and air mass flow sensor like if there wher damege please help.
Oh, the shiftronic doesent work
I was told by the Hyundai service dept. that it was ok.But everything I read says you should do both struts at the same time. What is the consensus on this site?
Trying to convert a 03 manual hvac to 07. Both units are manual but the connectors and wire order are different. Do you no the color codes for both? Upgrades are clock, hazard switch, outside air temperature, blower and ac......outside air was not originally in the 03 but being added because of unit. Is this possible? I have already added the sensor to the engine wire harness.
I just replaced rear brake pads before going on a road trip. I noticed on the trip while driving at interstate speed without brakes applied a subtle rubbing sound similar to the pad replacement indicator sound when braking on worn pads - Any help with diagnosis
we replaced the sensors two times the first ones were Aftermarket and the last ones were OEM strait from the Dealer but the light comes back on after driving for 150 miles. I failed inspection for the oxygen sensor code thats why im getting this work done, and know one can fix the problem if you find out any info on what might be the problem please let me know I never had a problem like this before where a shop that works on cars can't fix a car or don't have any idea what could make the light come back on, I also had the computer checke thats fine i also had the cat checked thats also fine

Noise sounds like a bathtub full of water. When brakes are applied water sloshes back and forth. What is the cause?

I have gears 1, 2, 5, and reverse. When shifting into 3rd and 4th the shifter just flops back and 4th. I followed the 2 cables to the transmission, and if I push down on the piece that they are tied into and move around it falls back into place. then it feels like it is locked into 3rd. Do you think it is the cable? Linkage adjustment? Thank you for your help. It needs to last a little longer to get my son through school.
A friend of mine who is a mechanic-in-training replaced my clutch. I have no idea what happened, but after he installed my $450 clutch, it was having engagment issues from the get go (I chalked it up to me getting used to a new racing clutch) and it started slipping less than two months later . So I talked to my dad's friend who is a real mechanic, and long story short had him put in a new clutch from O'Reilly's. He said he could not find anything physically wrong with the first clutch, so I don't know why it was slipping in the first place. After he got everything back together, at first it would not shift into reverse, but now when the shifter does get into the reverse position, the wheels move forward, and it feels like the transmission is actually in 4th or 5th. He has checked and double checked the linkage and he says he is sure everything is hooked up properly. I've got a line on a couple used transmissions to replace this one, but I want to know it's not just going to be screwed up again when I put a different trannie in. The transmission has had problems before now, but nothing like this. It has 165-170K miles on it. Some of the gears were grinding and it could be very difficult to get into 1st and reverse before.

15 minutes before it starts again ,it will spend over just will not start but if you wait awhile and go back 15 to 20 minutes it will crank

In the last year or so, my car makes what I'd call a squeaking/bubbling noise when cold. It's not very loud or anything, but it's noticeable -- even more so when the clutch and/or gas are depressed. This only happens when the car is cold, and the noise goes away in 5 minutes or so -- by the time the engine temperature has stabilized
I recently had a 90k service -- all fluids were flushed, a few hoses were replaced -- but the sound still remains (although not quite a strong as before). Any ideas?
The two bolts are going on into the water pump.The bracket comes towards the front of the car where you put the tensioner in. They connect with one bolt going vertically into a metal block, as another passes through the bottom portion of the metal block horizontally.
would not start, had towed to Firestone, diagnostics reported fuel pump which was replaced along with strainer,sensor, inline filter and injector service, now cars keeps stalling every couple blocks, they have had it on and off for over a week and cannot find out why it stalls, what should they be looking for, stalled 4 times this moring with mechanic onboard, they are towing it in again
I always fill up at a quater tank. When I turn on the ignition to take of the car shuts off. I start it up again and again it shuts of. After the episode is over I have no problem when I start the engine until I fill up again. I use Shell 90 to 99% of the time.
Its been doing it right after I bought. So about a couple of days now. Only does it when easing on and off the gas. If you hit the gas hard it doesn't do it. Changed plugs, wires,cleaned idle air control. What else could it be? SOS

When I'm driving down the road/highway/freeway my Tiburon will give a slight jerk back when I begin to push the gas pedal. This will happen slightly when I am driving and turn the AC on.

On hwy if fine. replaced alternator. Also loud elect hum coming thru speakers.
