start truck runs fine...turn off hard to start and when does run bad then levels out and temperature gauge goes all the way up ,after few minutes drops back down...then up and down...new fuel pump installed...2001 ford escape 4 wheel drive ..3.0

sits over nite starts and runs..turn off wont start back

Not lighting up while installed in vehicle with headlights on and ignition on.

Power steering went out and cluster lights went out and I had the AC on and I noticed it don't do that when I turn it off? Also abs lights and airbags and traction control light and battery light stays on... at one point they turn off when I accelerate and I get power steering back on so I don't know if it has to do with something else like computer problem?

How to locate problem

EGR valve has been replaced 4 times. The ck eng lite comes back on after a few hrs of driving. Why? 2 of the valves have had holes blown in the cast iron part, what would cause this?

The car makes the 5 beeps in a row abt 5 times them just stops & is fine. I have my seatbelt on so it can't be that, any idea what it is? Is it something I need to worry abt?

Engine light came on
Had it checked code come up showed problem with #3 spark plug.
When we checked found water in #2 and 3 spark plug wells. What could cause that?

looking for ratio to purchase differential for car - door sticker shows axle code is 96 but cant find ratio anywhere online - Loud bumping noise coming from rear of car when driving along time or turning a certain way

I have 2 wires hanging from near the center of the driver seat that have no plug. I can not see where they might plug into something. I think it has something to do with the seat sensor but I have no reference to compare what the under side should look like. (Code 49 flashes on air bag warning light)

When the car is stopped, there is a noise in the engine. I had the pulley checked out and they did a repair, but this is either a new noise or the same noise has come back. It happens every time I stop and the car is idling.

Also while starting to drive it ,some times it seems to hesitate while giving it some gas is this both an transmission problem and is it an easy fix thank-you hopefully I'll hear back from someone

everything else is new except the preasure sensor

we have replaced :pump, censor, tank and checked the dash for bad circuits
the needle goes from empty to only 3/4 full but the fuel in the tank is full ???

No unusual noises, from engine. It was all of the sudden as well.


When driving in the highway, a lot of noise is heard inside the cabin.

When in parking, the intensity of the cabin light changes. It gets bright for a second and then dim for another second. It continues until I start driving again.

When stopped in a light or when in parking, the car vibrates and the console makes a lot of noise.

Every time I need to lock the hatch with the key. The other doors all lock just fine.

I found a new Ford dealer who wants $1800 to fix the master cylinder, clutch, and transmission. Is it worth doing really? The car is a 2001 and in fair condition. Thank you.

The light is ALWAYS on!

2003 ford escape, automatic. Has no check engine light on at all. Skips or misfires in drive & reverse but in Park its like it hesitates. Have changed the fuel filter, and vacuum lines. Have put fuel injector cleaner in. Have ran all the gas out & got new from another gas station. Have checked the first 3 coils, but haven't checked the others yet. Any ideas on what this problem could be? It's really racking my brain.

that is when it setting still when you put it in gear it will not pull it loses all power I have also changed cam shaft sensor, crank shaft sensor, EGR values, EGR coil, fuel ingestion rail, fuel injectors, idling sensor, fuel relay sensor, fuel filter, air flow sensor, and throttle body and still I have the same problem can you PLEASE help

Has a 3.0 V6 motor have changed spark plugs and coil packs

It has done this several times and now it won't start at all.

I have a 2001 Ford Escape XLT model with 4WD and the 5 speed manual transmission. Shifting in and out of gears is very easy in all gears but in third it just pops back out of gear, for the most part I can just hold it in third when I need it, sometimes it does catch while holding it in and kicks out. Could this be a clutch issue or am I looking more at a transmission issue? thank you for any reply!

When I press on the accelerator pedal past a certain point, the air flow still blows by sound but doesn't blow out vents. Then when I take my foot off gas pedal the air comes through the vents.
