I have a 2002
Ford Explorer sport trac 4.0l
While driving home the check engine light started flashing and felt the truck acting sluggish, then it shut off in the middle of a hill (going up).
I tried to restart and it was unsuccessful. Pulled a P0301 for a #1cylinder miss fire. Only code in system. Cranks over, has spark - no start
I am checking the fuel pressure. With the key on engine off the pressures goes up to 80 psi and in a second it looses all pressure. My question is the pressure shouldn't drop that fast should it?
I'm having problems with my car alcelerating again after I come to a complete stop. But none of my lights are on, on my dashboard..Last night I notice my car speedometer stop working for a while and starting back then went out again.

Just replaced plugs and coil packs. The engine is down on power ato times oscillating back and forth from normal power to sudden loss at speeds of 10-60.
the heater is the only thing that turns on. Radio wont work. a/c doesn't work. Any ideas?
Its a high pitched squeal when I start my truck and it will continue until I get going. It will occasionally do it when I turn the wheel and even when I stop sometimes. Its a manual, 4 speed. I'm thinking its the fan belt or the throw-out bearing. PLEASE HELP.

I'm only seeing seven spark plugs I got them at .25 and install them but how come there's 10 wires that I see from the distributor cap? Are there more than 7 I didn't replace the wires even though I have brand-new ones because they seem to look fine but anyway any help will be appreciated

I started driving one day I noticed my O/D light was blinking on my Dash I recently changed the fluid on my transmission and my transmission is Shifting great I don't know why it started blinking does anybody know why this is happening?

I recently bought new tires and went to my local ford dealer to have them mounted and balanced. And an alignment done because the outside of my front passenger tire was wore badly and it was pulling to the right slightly. The dealership called me to the shop to show me that the front passenger side brake calipers were locked. And had been for a while. Causing detrimental damage to the rotor. The repair costs upwards of $1000. The truck is a 2012 but only drives long distances of 3 hours or so back and fourth to work. And only has 48,800 miles. My question is why did it lock up. And is there a recall on the brakes

I am working on a 1999 Ford Exploder with a charging problem. The alternator is good, the battery is good, the light comes on, the fuses are all good. I wonder if someone can tell me what the resistance is across the voltmeter on the dash. The only other thong in the circuit is the wire that goes to the PCM. Does the PCM have anything to do with the charging system?? Thank you in advance.

I had the throttle body replaced and the pcm replaced and reprogrammed on the car on11/15/16 when I got it back the traction control light was on and the car said service advance Trac.
I have a 2007 Ford Escape hybrid with 9400 miles. I am wondering if there is an average mileage amount that this hybrid battery usually dies or need to be replaced?
There's a rear bed in van and I can't open it .
It sat up for a year know it's not getting gas.
My truck starts & stays on when idling but will shut off once I gas it or start to leave. After it shuts off it will start right back up. It's a 92 F250 diesel. Never had this problem before.

I have a 2012 Ford escape and I just replace the latch Actulator for my liftgate and now on the dash of my car it is reading liftgate glass ajar but everything is locked and shut and that light is still on even when I turn the vehicle on and it just beeps at me saying liftgate glass ajar
I have changed the plugs, wires, coils, cam sensor, and the intake but it still miss fires only when warm what could it be?
