Reverse light stay on while driving. We just replaced the clutch and this was not an issue prior to the clutch replacement. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Tranny disengaged on freeway. No fluid on stick. Added fluid it now engages & drives for a minute then disengages. check engine has been on for a while. Is the transmission is salvageable?

The other day I got on the freeway and it began reving to really high rpms and not engaging. We checked the transmission fluid and none was registering on dip stick. We have now out 7 and a half quartz into it as the manual says it should have and it appears to be at the proper level. It will go into all gears and drive however only for a short period of time. Then it won't kick into any of the gears at all. It appeared to be leaking fluid after we filled it up but that may be overflow or something. The check engine light goes off and on sometimes but had been on for a couple days prior to the transmission problem. Is there any chance the entire transmission does not need replaced?

I was reading some of the info you had online about the check engine light and the transmission. Is there any possibility the transmission needs a new update or is salvage able without spending a lot of money. I just simply don't have it and desperately need my car to get to work each day!

Fuel pressure problem after car sits overnight or during day at work. Try to accelerate sometimes cuts off have to wait for it to warm up some. Replaced fuel filter recently helped with no starting after running but still seems to have a fuel pressure problem. All sensors new, all. Fuel pump is working this is an on going issue

Will stall while accelerating. No matter how fast I'm going.

Transmission not working won't drive past 3d gear rpms reving up high then won't shift into gear at all until I turn engine off for a few minutes but when I turn back on transmission only has one two gears if I drive at a higher speed tranny gets stuck and won't shift or drive

I jack the car up and I see coolant coming from some were on the engine near the oil filter housing. I changed the heater hoses,the upper intake,and the egr value. I thanking it's the heater core are a blow head gasket. Not sure. Help Please

Hard to find OEM. Mechanics have replaced twice in 2 years. Acura only has remans.

Is the shield bent or has the mechanic done something when he replaced the wheel bearings?

Car hard shift 2nd gear

D5 gear blinks when I'm driving.

This occurs when I am driving the car. Turning the care when driving forward or backing up, this is the only time I hear the grinding noise.

Out all the transmission oil leak out and the car would not come out of park

Out the shifter move but will not come out of park

Can this be sure to no grease in ball joint boot the tire has quit a lot of play when car is stopped and I shake it with my hands

Also I have a real bad shake in front end after I hit 45mph

I changed the ignition switch and still have the same problem

front driver seat doesnt recline or move forward/backward when adjusting it with the controls on side. but when you fold the seat over it does slide up and then if you put the seat back it slides back to original position. i have checked the switches/ fuses/ but i took it to a shop and they told me it was a power control module?...not sue..cost about $300 to get replace. is this correct? Could it be the UCS unit?

my acura started stalling while driving down the road a couple days ago, also when starting the motor it will also start then stall a couple of times before it stays running. So I started looking for ideas of the problem and found this site which also informed me of the recall possibility. I was wondering if its still available at this late of date

it feels like I'm coming it's coming from the front end and I can't have done everything I can troubleshoot it and I don't know what to do give me an answer please

It started happening today while driving home. I was about to take off from a dead stop and all of a sudden when I went to accelerate the RPM's went all the way up but it would not jump into gear it was like when I was stepping on the gas it was barely go in the RPM's were running but it just it was not slipping into gear and then when it did slip into gear it did it with a big trunk and you could just hear the engine working overtime and it still wouldn't do it, when all of a sudden my car wouldn't accelerate as I press the gas. I noticed that tachometer number keeps going up and I can hear a loud engine noise. My car keeps moving, but only 20mph and my car still has not been overheating at all that day nor had he been acting any stranger I checked all the fluids and I'm good on all of that as well

I have a problem with the power steering in my 2001 Acura CL Type S. The steering seems to be unusually stiff, I have found leaks from the power steering reservoir. I have changed the power steering pump also but it did not get any better. When the tires are in ideal condition there is no problem, but when i steer left or right, there is a noise coming from the steering pump. The oil level becomes zero after i drive for around 3-4 miles. Is it a problem with the hoses and their connections?? Is there a clog in the system?? or has my rack and pinion system broken down?? How do i know when the rack and pinion system is broken down and needs to be replaced as i dont find any sort of leaks near the rack and pinion. Most of the oil leaks right underneath the steering pump onto the ground!!
