is there a factory in line fuel filter
on ths car
my car will shut off and will not start sometimes. after sitting a little bit it will start again.it seems to happen after its warmed up.sometimes it starts up after only a few minutes other times it takes up to 30 minutes.
MY 92 F-150 STARTS BUT HAS A HESISTATION WHILE IDLEING WHEN PUT IN GEAR STRUGGLES TO MOVE BUT MOVE IN SECOND WITH NO PROBLEM YET CAN FEEL HESITATION THEN TRUCK DIES WHILE DRIVING. CHANGED FUEL FILTER, DID TUNE UP, AND HAD CHECKED BY MECHANIC NO ANSWER SAME PROBLEM EXIST. AFTER NOT STARTING FOR TWO WEEKS STARTED AND RAN FINE FOR TWO MONTHS NOW PROBLEM IS BACK.. NEED HELP.... WHEN PROBLEM EXIST OVERDRIVE OR GEAR SHIFT DOESN'T COME ON WHEN PROBLEM LEAVES GEAR SHIFT LIGHT COMES BACK ON WHEN PRESSED.
Got the volts light followed by most of the others. Had the batt tested and replaced it. Still got the volts light. Checked the alt output and came up with 13-14 volts. What else could cause the light to keep coming on? Is there a voltage reg, and if so where is it located. I really want to narrow down the possibilities before I have someone TELL me what I need.
engine backfired and quit, found gear on bottom of distrubitor chewed up, got new distrubitor, what is procedure to install?
I check the fuel pressure,spark,compression test,crankshaft position senor, still does not want to start. It just about starts when you hold the pedal down.I don't know want to do next. rick

when i turned on the a/c or fan, the blower sometimes take 5,15, or sometimes 45mins. before start working... sometimes no problem.. what do you think is the problem? head control?, breaker? relay? 3/11/09 Thank you the blower motor was bad...
This is intermittant but now almost all time, when I turn the ignition switch the engine cranks but no panel leds light (abs,sevice engine, brake, etc) won't start, I can't hear the fuel pump, I just keep turning ignition off pull key out and try again and it seems to eventually work, it has died going down the road at 60mph once and at intersections twice, I had the ignition switch replaced about a year ago because of the stupid security which the truck does not have to start with, thanks for any help you can give me.
Is it difficult and/or expensive to replace the power steering hose on a 2001 pontiac GT?
there was a "bump" or "jump" in transmission then would not shift higher than 2nd gear.......speed about 35 mph, rpm's up to 3....
I had an ol leak took it to precissin tune who said it was the oil pan, I had it replaced, still have a small leak, how many things are there that could be causing this, I still have to take it somewhere again for this problem so the next time "HE" whoever, I get to fix it I will not be so dumb. money is tight these days Thanks for your help
I was at fault in a rear-ending a little while ago. There were no witnesses, so the other driver and I decided not to make a report, as I was uninsured and his car was not damaged. My car was damaged, and I want to know how much I should expect to pay. My passenger-side headlight is demoloshed, with just minor pieces dangling from the front of my car. I need the entire thing replaced, the housing and everything. The bumper is a little messed up, but I'm certain that I won't need to replace it.
I also have noticed that my right turn signal does not work, not even in the back, are the two related?
I have had this scanned by 3 different shops: one said nothing was wrong, the second said it would be manifold and cost at least $900, the third said oxygen sensors which I had him do. Only about 5 miles driving down the road after this repair was done the Check Engine Soon light came right back on. I am experiencing no performance issues whatsoever and the light is intermittent, a few days off, a few days on. I don't think it has anything to do with the gas cap because I only fill up about once a month and the light has gone on/off at least 6 times since my last fill up. I cannot afford a "science project" of having it scanned again, more repairs, then the light comes back. I seem to read that this has happened to many others. Can you give any advice?
What do I use or how do I go about cleaning out the debris from the drain so that the water doesn't stay trapped inside?
