2006 Nissan Altima Q&A

2006 Nissan Altima Question: Question on Clutch Assembly

Hi there. Dealer has indicated that the car needs a "Clutch Assembly" How do I get an estimate for installing the assembly rather than an estimate for replacement of the clutch itself? Scott -
Answer 1
When clutch is needed you should replace the clutch disc, pressure plate, throw out bearing, pilot bushing/bearing and resurface the flywheel. That is the clutch assembly. -
Answer 2
to add to Ron, the price varies according to what brand of clutch. at our shop, it runs 650-700. there is an estimate tab at the top that you can use to get prices in your area. Roy -
