There are alot of problems with the coil tower on these vehicles and this will be costly to repair. To start out cheaper start by replacing the ignition coil resistor, boots, amd plugs. What happens is the resistor goes bad and causes the vehicle to misfire. This causes carbon marks in the boots that dont go away easy by cleaning. Replace these ittems and check the drivability of the car. You can get away without replacing the plugs if you clean the porsalin well. If you still have problems you will need to replace the ignition coil module as well.
