pully on 1995 Buick LeSabre

my cousinn wants to replace the crankshaft pully, due to a loose sounding noise. by a mech. the og owner was told it was the power steering pump. IT WASNT! now he thinks its the crankshaft pully. whats should he expect when he pulls it off and what does he need to do to properly install? Thanks

You probably have a serpentine belt tensioner pulley going bad, I really don't think the crankshaft pulley will make a noise because there's no bearings in that pulley.
