Oil leaks from the valve cover gaskets are not uncommon. Our technicians tell us that if one valve cover seal is found leaking both valve covers should be resealed to try and avoid future issues.
A water leak may develop from the sunroof area. The is commonly caused by kinked or pinched sunroof drains. Our technicians tell us the drain tubes should be inspected and correctly routed to correct this issue.
A clunk type noise may be noted while turning left or right at slow speeds. Our technicians tell us this noise is commonly caused by the intermediate steering shaft, a revised intermediate shaft is available to correct this concern.

Black smoke from the exhaust, poor acceleration, and/or a rough engine idle may be a result of corrosion affecting the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve operation. Replacement of the faulty EGR valve would be required to correct this issue.
The air suspension inactive message may be displayed with fault code 41 stored. Our technicians tell us the air suspension electronic control unit (ECU) software should be updated prior to attempting to diagnose this concern.
A pulsation may be noted upon brake application. This condition is commonly caused by warped brake rotors. Our technicians recommend inspecting both front and rear brake rotors when this condition occurs. Brake pads should be replaced along with any warped rotors to correct this condition.
In severe wet conditions, water may enter the anti-lock brake system (ABS) modulator electrical connector resulting in corrosion and illumination of the ABS warning light. Our technicians tell us revised modulator ground leads are available to better seal the connector. If corrosion is found in the electrical connector the connector will need to be repaired as necessary and the new ground leads installed.
One or both power folding mirrors may not fold in or out correctly. This can be a result of a dis-logged micro switch in the mirror assembly. Our technicians recommend checking this micro switch before replacing the mirror assembly.
An oil leak may develop from the front crankshaft seal. Our technicians tell us a revised seal is available which should correct this concern.

A knocking type noise may be noted from the timing cover area. This may be caused by insufficient clearance between the timing cover and the end play button on the camshaft. Our technicians tell us that removing the timing cover and modifying the cam button is necessary to correct this concern.
Hard starting may be noted in extreme cold conditions, -5 degrees Fahrenheit and below. Our technicians tell us an updated engine control module (ECM) PROM is available to correct this concern.
