When attempting to start the engine, it turns over normally but will not start. The engine does not even attempt to start.

Found the problem, a mouse had chewed through a wire located near the ECU. The ECU is located on the fender by the right side hood hinge. Spliced the wire and wallah it starts and runs normally!!!!

As a Jeep Liberty owner with a sky slider, I have also having ongoing issues with the slider breaking, not closing, or opening, and being given the run around by Jeep Corp. An engine misfire at idle (rough idle), accompanied by illumination or flashing of the Check Engine Light, could indicate a problem with one or more of the intake valves. Revised intake valves & valve locks are available to address this concern.

A no crank or no start condition may develop due to electronic lockup of the wireless control module (WCM), also referred to as the Sentry Key Remote Entry Module (SKREEM). When this module fails the remote keyless entry system will also not operate. The WCM is commonly replaced to correct this concern.

If the power door locks are buzzing or are intermittently noisy, a new door latch assembly may solve this. The door lock actuators are integrated into the latch assemblies.

Leaks at the front and/or rear differential pinion seal and from the transfer case are common. Low fluid level in the differential or transfer case can result in bearing failure. Damaged bearings commonly cause a whine or growl type noise.

If previous drive belt replacements have not fixed a problem with a chirping belt, there is a service bulletin that outlines a revised drive belt routing.

The power window motor commonly fails in the front and rear doors. This may require replacement of the complete window regulator assembly which will include the window motor.

P01776 and P0740 faults stored in Trans. Intermittently the transmission will not go into overdrive. After restarting the vehicle it will drive fine for 1 to 3 days. just replaced solenoid pack, oil and filter. keeps coming. P0740 fixed.

The door molding may become loose on one or both front doors. Our technicians recommend to replace the molding if this occurs.

A water leak may develop from the "flipper" glass. Our technicians tell us that installing an adhesive liner and flipper glass seal should correct this concern.

The manual transmission may jump out of gear. Our technicians tell us that replacing the 1-2 synchronizer assembly should correct this concern.
