The Cabriolet convertible top mechanism can fail due to hydraulic fluid leaks. The fluid reservoir is a common failure.

Uneven ride height and/or tilting of the vehicle may be caused by one or more stuck closed residual pressure holding valves. A service bulletin from Audi describes how to properly test these valves. Any valve failing this functional test should be replaced.

Axle constant velocity (CV) boots may crack and leak, resulting a lack of lubrication and damage to the CV joint. Our technicians recommend to replace damaged CV boots at the first sign of cracking. If noise is noted from the CV joint the axle may require replacement.

Various steering, suspension, and sub-frame bushings and mounts can deteriorate over time resulting in noise and/or handling issues. Our technicians recommend periodic inspection of these components and replacement as necessary.
