Hi sorry I do not have an answer for you, but I was hoping you found what the problem is, because I am having the same problem with my car. A lot of weird things happening. Hoping to get an answer from you. Also have family not to far from you in Simpsonville very nice area.

Also do not have the answer, but have the same problem.
if anyone finds out please email me! I will keep checking back to see. I have also seen this posted on other sites as well.

I replaced this a little over a year ago, it's called a Transmission Range Sensor and it sits on top of the transmission, hope this helped.
