Within the last week my '09 Santa Fe has stalled 7 times (3 times today driving into work). It occurs when driving at low speed (20-25). On two occasions the engine completely shut down. on the other occasions, all electrical systems shut down momentarily, then everything is back on. Any thoughts on the problem? Called the local Hyundai Service and was told they had not heard of this problem before.

2009 Hyundai Santa Fe Question: Problem with stalling

Do you think a connection problem is something that can be detected via a service center computer diagnostic test? This seems to be a problem reported by many on various on-line forums, yet each with different solutions and no surprise, Hyundia dealer has never herad of such an issue. Dealer stated they would drive and attempt to replicate, but that seems crazy...because I'm guessing it may not happen in a 10-15 test drive, yet I will pay $xxx just to learn they could not replicate. Thoughts?

I think u gotta start it and pop hood and start wiggling and moving cables and wiring till it cuts out.

Funny, but your suggestion is very logical...I'll give it a try. Guess I got a bit lazy over time, as this is how I would have addressed problems with my used '73 chevy, '78 buick, and '81 ford. Will share what I find - if not stranded on the road.
