When I drive smoothly transmission seems to have no problem with upshifting or downshifting. Only when I press the gas pedal to accelerate the speed, transmission from the 3rd gear stucks, and before it shiftes to the 4th makes this boom noise and shackes the car...

MasterHave a good Porsche shop look at this, it sounds like the 3-4 shift solenoid or even an internal mechanical 3-4 shift component, speed sensor etc, is defective.

archil, January 12, 2011, 02:44ReplyRookieThanks, I did. Problem is that Im in Ukraine now, and only Porsche official shop is in Kyiv. I called them and reported the problem. What they say is that- they can check the transmission, but no guaranties that computer will read the problem. They also recommended oil change and/or drive unless the broblem is persistant.
