Question: Pricing for Exhaust system oxygen sensors

Question

Visitor, 1.6L 4 Cylinder, Mamaroneck, NY, May 04, 2010, 15:32

Is the sensor after the cat. convertor more expensive than the one before the cat. converter. Thank you very much. My check engine light is on after having exhaust pipe replaced and was told oxygen sensor is not working but they didn't tell me which one. I found out later there are two.

Sounds like you have a vacuum hose disconnected and with a vacuum leak you will have a high idle and hear air while its running, But make sure the engine is off before trying to find the hose or leak
