Question: price on replacing seal in turbo

 Rookie

There is a seal that needs to be replaced in the turbo. Causes the exhaust to smoke when idling. Need an estimate on how much that would cost to fix. Can anyone help???

    first of all, the motor must be removed to remove the turbo. Audi reccomends replacing both units, not just one. they do not reccomend sealing it. the turbo is 1600 per. you have 2
    the labor is about 18 hours for both.
