I was quoted $850 for the 60,000 mile service from my Toyota dealer (with no other known services/replacements being in the quote - i.e. they haven't found anything else wrong). The RepairPal page shows the same should be less than $500 (at the high end) for a dealership. Can anyone help me understand the difference?

When it comes to Scheduled Maintenance, the service price is dictated primarily by the parts that are replaced (filters, spark plugs, timing belt etc.)and a few other services (transmission fluid change, coolant change, tire rotation etc.).
The important thing when comparing these estimates is that you're comparing similar services. Use the "Additional Services" selector under the estimate to tailor your estimate to get an accurate estimate.Flag ThisLike | 1 person likes this1 -
