I took my car in for a stalling problem and was told that it might be the fuel pump but due to the high cost of replacing the pump, they recommended replacing the fuel filter. Along with the filter they replaced the fuel ip sensor.Cost for that was $510.Picked up the car and made it five miles when the car stalled again.Towed the car to the shop and they replaced the fuel pump.Cost for that was $968.Picked up the car and noticed that they drove the car 348 miles.Questioned the mileage and was told that the mechanic took the car home which is only 15 to 20 miles from the shop. When I left the shop,I felt the transmission was slipping badly. I have not had any problems with the transmission before now. They told me that the water pump was bad and it was linked to the transmission.Cost over $500.They replaced the water pump which didn't fix the transmission. Now I'm stuck with a car I can't drive unless I take there advice and take the car to Aamco Transmission and pay them $5000 to repair the transmission! I have filed a complaint with the B.A.R.
