Volkswagen Cabrio Power Window May Fail Due to Window Regulator
One or more power windows may fail. Our technicians tell us this is commonly due to a failed window regulator which will require replacement.
Both driver and passenger side windows have been inoperable for the past two years, driver's side window just fell down into door yesterday. Estimate to repair was around $500!! :( - Visitor

Window regulator failed on drivers side first, a year later the passenger side. I recommend getting them both replaced at the same time, that way you don't have to do it twice. - chellgraham
Windows wouldn't stay up on either passenger or driver side. Had the mechanisms replaced 2 times on each side. 4 years later they are making funny noises again :( - Visitor
