Power windows do not go up. And 30 amp underhood fuse blows as soon as the ignition key is turned on. We had both doors disconnected and it still blows. So I want to know if there is anything else on that circuit that might cause the problem?

The power windows are protected by a circuit breaker within the Junction Block located on the left side of the instrument panel. I am not sure which 30A fuse is blowing as there are several of them, however fuse 1 (30 amp) feeds the A/C, Charging System and Fuel/Ignition systems, I suggest you start looking in this area for your short, particulairy around the engine harness where it may chafe around body and brackets.
