Hate to tell you this, but this job requires a couple of Mercedes Benz specific tools and without them you will have a lot of extra labor to perform. The tools are used to remove the cooling fan, ( the cooling fan blocks access to the water pump)without the tools you may have to remove the radiator, it all depends on what kind of tools you have and how willing you are to cut them up to fit your needs. I would recommend taking it to a repair shop, it will save you time and aggravation.
