Temps dropped below zero and the power steering pump began to leak. At first it squealed so I added some fluid. When starting the vehicle had to warm up before the power steering would loosen. Now there is not any squealing but even when the vehicle has warmed up the steering is so tight, can hardly turn. Each morning there is a puddle under the vehicle so there is a leak. The fluid also has some red in it but it is not tranny fluid. Wondering if I flushed the system with fresh fluid would it help any? When the temps warm up, the leaking stops.
