I had my check eng light check out a Advance Auto with there computer. It said it was the Oxg sensor so I changed it. The light came back on later. I had them check it again. This time it is the Power steering pressure switch. How do I know if it is bad or not? And if it needs changing? This is the switch on the line next to the power steering pump.

The Power Steering switch is an easy repair. First disconnect your battery to turn the check engine light off. Drive your vehicle to see it the light comes back on and what code is stored. If it is the same code and the wiring to the switch is good, replace the switch. keep in mind that the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) can also be defective.
