When I got my oil changed they said I had a power steering leak. It would be 350-400 to fix. Can I buy some power steering leak stuff and see if this will help. Where can I see this leak. Don't know these mechanics so want to be sure it is really happening

first of all second opinions are always good to verify the problem. i never recommend sealers as they are temporary fixes at best. most of the time they never work anyway and cause more problems. the leak would be evident under the car but when you get your second opinion, ask to see the leak. Roy

The high pressure power steering hose will commonly leak fluid; it should be replaced.
I'm assuming that the hose should be tight. Is this a broker o -ring
A Loose or worn gas cap may cause Check Engine Light to illuminate.
