Question: Power Steering goes away on right turns when stopped or going slow

Does any one have a solution for power steering not working at slow speeds or when stopped, My truck is a 2003 1500 Silverado 4 wheel drive. I read on a truck forum that an updated pressure valve in the pump would take care of if but it made it worse. I would rather not start throwing parts at it.

    Have a reputable shop diagnose the steering issue so you won't have to throw parts at it. Online forums are a great wealth of info for a particular vehicle, but not everybody's problems/symptoms/repairs are identical.
