Question: Power Steering Fluid leak, + noise

Similar problem with noise and was told it cost $500 to fix power steering fluid leak. How soon does a car usually get this kind of problem? Is it just replacing the hose and valve that will correct it - does replacing a power steering belt (along with the engine belt) have any effect on this?

    Without seeing or knowing exactly what is leaking, it's hard to give an good answer to your question. Can you provide more info?
    How many miles on your Murano?
    Where is the leak coming from?
    Did it start after another repair?

    Be careful...I had my wife's 2006 Nissan Murano catch fire the other day in a parking lot, due to a power steering fluid leak. It is a leak that had been ongoing for a few months. It dripped onto the exhaust and caught fire.
