Power Steering on 1996 Cadillac DeVille

Extremely difficultly turning the steering wheel to the left, only. Just happened suddenly, no obvious warning signs. No fluid obvious under vehicle. What is the problem?

Tough to tell what happened and your Deville could have been built with either a rack and pinion or a steering box according to my book, So the best thing is to get a shop to check this www.repairpal.com/directory and once you know which steering system you have you can check the prices here www.repairpal.com/estimator But my guess is that the rack and pinion has failed
