The power steering system should not loose fluid. Power steering leaks can be caused by a leak at the power steering pump which generates high pressure, high pressure is sent to the steering rack or steering box under pressure and the high pressure hose can leak. High pressure fluid can cause leaks at the steering rack/steering box. Fluid returns from the steering rack/ steering box and returns under low pressure to the steering resiviour, any of these components could be the cause of your leak and need to be investigated.
