power seats on 1995 Toyota Land Cruiser

Is there a way to bypass power to move seat back, Seat is too close to steering and electric not working

My seat was making a grinding noise then stopped working, the gears were stripped on one side of the seat. We had the seat taken out and the stripped side taken out & now it works fine.
