I have 110K on the car. Noticed for about six months the car runs sluggish and dash dims on occasion. Did need a new battery but did not correct the power. One week ago the ABS/Brake light was flashing four seperate times in one day at the same time the dashboard dimmed, flickered and the radio turned off and back on. Isolated incident.
No codes for the mechanic to check. The Alternator and battery is fine. Please give me the answer. I'm very nervous to drive it.

The mechanic said he checked for codes but there weren't any. He did not say "BCM". He mentioned that it appears when the radio/dash reset it also reset the computer. When the ALT was checked at the auto parts store they had me turn all the accessories on one by one while pressing the gas pedal. With each accessory (AC,Radio,Lights,Rear Defroster) the engine became increasingly sluggish. It did not sound well at all. I though it could possible be the fuel filter but the filter is inside the tank and you have to replace the entire thing which is costly and may not fix it. The mechanic said he could start throwing parts at it but it might not solve it so the best thing is to wait for it to happen again. I'm not too satisfied with that.
