My Chevy Silverado extra cab truck started to have a lot of problems opening the doors from the interior, it was almost impossible to open these doors !!! The FIX is to get the cables and handles replaced, I am told by the mechanic that fixed my truck, he has seen this happen many times on these trucks that are cable actuated to the door lock assemblies. It was a dangerous situation as it was almost impossible to egress the vehicle.
I don't know how General Motors is able to get away with a flawed design such as this, and it is extremely dangerous to the occupants. Of course, just look at all the problems GENERAL MOTORS is having with their vehicles.
When you build something that is not meant to last the life of the vehicle and not built properly, there will be issues and lawsuits. I have not sympathy for a flawed design built and put into production and sold to the public at outrageous prices ................

During cold weather, these door locks will not hardly work. I am not impressed with this truck at all. We have had multiple issues with this REGENCY CONVERSION Chevrolet Silverado truck .......... What gives ?
