1997 GMC Yukon Question: Power door lock

I would suspect you have a problem with power supply to the door lock switch or the output wiring to the door lock control module. If power to the door lock switch on the orange wire is ok then you will need to check the light blue and white output wires to the door lock module for an open circuit.

Drivers side lock does not work with wireless entry or with the key. It is now locked closed. Cannot get it unlocked. Passenger side works fine. The Drives side will lock when the keyless entry is pressed or with the inside lock button is pressed but will not unlock. Can you help with some idea of what's wrong?

check fuse panel on diver side first. any lock/unlock problems on any door. 3 relays. one is for driver door only. $10.00 dollar relay #8867 gm#15328867. fix my 2003 yukon, not locking rear door. i switched relays and found problem switched from not locking to not unlocking. i replaced 1 relay. might help owners with recent lock/unlock problems. hope it helps. rjs
