When Harry Franklin and Daniel Bowling opened Potomac Creek Automotive their goal was to be the place for trusted auto repairs at an honest price. Our review shows they have everything in place to meet those goals. Their team of technicians is led by Daniel who is ASE certified. Daniel and Charlie regularly attend up date training classes, apprentice Josh has begun his regular training and will soon begin testing for his ASE certificates. Potomac has all of the diagnostic tools and shop equipment we would expect to see in one of our Top Shops. Customer conveniences include performing state smog and safety inspection, a local shuttle service, and Saturday business hours. All work is confidently backed by a 3 year/36,000 mile warranty.

  If all shops were like Potomac and were as good, there would not be any use going to a dealer where they over charge and make you wait all day to get something done.

  When my car suddenly broke down, they took me without an appointment and given the degree of service, gave me a break on the labor. I took my wifes car back the following week for a routine service and their price came in under the dealer service price! Work on both cars was great!

  The first time I've ever been to a mechanic and it didn't feel like I got ripped off. They explained stuff to me. They were very very fair. They definitely didn't tell me that I needed extra work when I didn't. I had gone to a shop right before I went to them who had $1600 of work that they said that I needed, which I didn't.

  I am one of Potomac Creek's original customers ever since they opened over 20 years ago. Up until then, I had taken my car to many other repair shops and found most of them to be very dishonest. Because I am a woman, they would treat me like I didn't understand what they were saying and would recommend unneeded repairs. Potomac Creek has always been honest and respectful. If repairs are expensive, they will recommend which repairs are needed right away, and which ones can wait a little while. I've always been able to get my car in when needed. Customer service is great - all the staff is very friendly and professional. I'm so glad I found them!
