my caddy blows white smoke and i need to replace radiator coolant often, the car has under 100,000 miles on it. my question is do you guys take extend warr, i am covered by interstate national warranty(mepco)

    We don't fix cars, we just give free advice, but we're good at it.
    I can't say if your warrantee will cover your problem but I sure hope it does..
    If the white smoke is sweet smelling/tasting, it's coolant and you probably have head gasket problems at the very least. It may be possible for an intake manifold leak to allow some coolant to enter the combustion, this would be much better than head gaskets, and I certainly hope that's the case..
    Be forewarned: I want to tell you that some mechanics (I worked at a Caddy dealer when your car was current) don't think that these engines are repairable once the heads have to come off, like your's might, because the cylinders become unsealed from the block once the heads are off. I think it depends on the mechanic and how lucky he and you are.
    Good luck with it, be sure the mechanic is Caddy-experienced before you let anyone pull the heads off.
