RepairPal's Assessment: Mountain View Garage is a good example of what we look for in a Top Shop. Sean Forest, the owner, has done a good job of putting Mountain View Garage on the map. He employs ASE Certified technicians provides them with the training they need to keep up to date, and equips them with the automotive tools and equipment needed to make professional repairs to your vehicle. These are all things we use to evaluate the foundation of our Top Shops. Sean has taken this further and he gives back to his community by providing free oil changes to senior citizens (conditions apply), and supporting various community organizations. Most recently Mountain View Garage was recognized by the City of Thorton as the "Best Business Citizen" for it's contributions to the community and was a runner up for the Best Green Business for it's efforts to recycle waste generated by the shop. Mountain View Garage is a member of our Top Shop network because this shop exceeds the technical qualifications require to be a part of our program, but Sean has made sure that his shop is a leader in his community.

We were very impressed by their integrity and ethics, as evidenced by their 2011 Golden Ethics Award and their 2012 Bill Daniels Ethics in Business Award. We were delighted to find their owner, Dana TePoel, has over 20 years of experience in the auto industry. This ASE Blue Seal shop (of which there are only about 1500 nationwide) is also AAA and BBB accredited, and provides state emissions testing. They have been serving the Westminster, CO area since 1992.

This Top Shop values training and certification. 3 their 4 technicians are ASE Certified and they all attend regular training to keep up with automotive technologies. They have at their disposal some of the industries best automotive tools and computer diagnostic equipment available to professionally service and repair your late model computer controlled vehicle. Rental Cars, shuttle service, wireless internet, and early bird drop off are available for your convenience.

Brandon, the owner, has assembled an experienced crew of individuals to meet your automotive and customer service needs. This shop values on going training, the management has attended customer service training, and the techncians are keeping up with their ongoing education as well. ASE Certificaiton is a big plus and although it is not required to be a Top Shop it is something that we weight heavily in our evaluation, 2 of the 3 staff members are ASE Certified, this is important because it shows a committment to staying current and a basic foundational knowledge of Automotive Repair. Overall we found Pickering Auto Service to fit nicely into our Top Shop program and feel they are well epuipped to meet your automotive needs.
