my frist guess would be a fuel filter/pump issue.get the codes run on the computer.is the engine light on?

yes the engine light is on, also I was told that I need a throttle position sensor while I am waiitng for the part I use a can of throttle intake cleaner , which improved the stalling for a moment but now the problem appears to be getting worse.

Possible catalytic converter failure, it fails commonly on VWs. Also MASS Air Flow Sensor fails. You can try to disconnect the sensor and see what happens.
You need to get a diagnostic from a repair shop.
