2004 Toyota Matrix Question: pool in the back floor board

 Rookie

I have a pool of water standing in the back floor board on the passenger side of my Matrix. I thought the door seals were bad, but no water on seats, or sides of door, only on carpet in back. Help before my floor board rusts away...

    The water probably wouldn't be on the seats if the door had a leak. It would run down the door edge and then down into the foot well.

    If you have a sunroof --your sunroof drains may be blocked which would utlimately cause the water to find a way inside your vehicle. I've heard of this problem occurring with Audi/VW and also have experienced it firsthand with my own car.
