A few things that was happening was:
The air conditioner would suddenly go hot then blow out cold air at any given time.
Sometime the belt would squeal upon start up but would quiet down when car warms up.

Got in car after work turned on air conditioner and air never got cold. Then I noticed temperature of car going up. Heater also didn't work this last winter. I live in Denton Texas and its almost summer and its already hotter then heck. What could the problem be?

ran low on gas, sputtered to a stop. added 4 gal of gas but wont start. pump is working but no fuel pressure at fuel rail.

My G/F has a 2004 grand am,to me it loks like it is leaking cooling fluid on the right front. She uses some other kind of coolant other than reg anti freeze, but I can tell it is a mixture of water. The car runs great and has 158000 miles on it. The pump has never been replaced. To save money, i wanted to see if you might could help me through this or should I have something else checked before I take on this task. Thanks

how many quarts of trans fluid are in a 2004 grand am.

replaced brake pads. bled the brakes and still they do not grip too well.

if my battery is bad and can not hold a charge will that keep my car from cranking. the reason i ask is I tried to start my car would not start and even when I charged it. Can this cause me to have to reset the computer in it? Or how will this effect the computer in it? I tried to hook up to the computer but the battery didnt have enough power in it. I am going to buy a new one just curious on how this effects it.

I just replaced my water pump. But 3 days later I went to go out and it would not start. I turns over and i can hear my fuel pump kick on. I also have spark on my plugs. Is it possible to be my fuel filter or is there something else that it could be with car?
