both drivers side windows won't go down doors won't lock
The ad has been up and down but now the unit is on but no air is blowing. Need to replace or remove compressor?
All windows but driver side can be controlled by driver control but driver side won't go down or up. Switch or window itself? Diy project or do I need professional help?
we just got the car.It wasn't taken care of.We took it to lakeside muffler and it was doing good till my daughter drove to Colorado. It kept shutting itself off. It would start again in about 20 min. Did this all the way there. Now it still does it even just driving to town. We changed the fuel filter but no change. we are thinking it is the fuel pump.
Hey! I blew my last engine in my Bonneville (stupid teenager I know) and I recently dropped in a used one. It was running rough and had a CEL (check engine light). I cleaned the EGR valve with a steel brush and carburetor/throttle body cleaner as this is what I was told to do after the code was diagnosed. After I refitted the valve, the car ram much smoother for around 5 miles. But then it started running rough again. I have cleaned it twice now and this problem continues to occur. Any tips on how to fix this? Thanks!

Car died when shut off. wasn't getting fuel, replaced fuel pump & sock,still didnt run mech said the new fuel pump was defective, replaced it again still wont workwont run
The car runs like there is a bad spark plug or wire. This is the second engine in the car and it was not new. When I had the computer run on a check engine light, those items were mentioned as possible causes on the number 4 Cylinder as well as an injector. Had the car checked and all plugs, wires, and compression were good on the engine. The mechanic stated that the engine was mechanically sound! The next step the mechanic was going to diagnose was an injector but I did not have the money that day to continue. When I left, the car was back to running as it normally should. Something the mechanic did must have cleared/cleaned the problem out. It has started running rough again and will not clear itself out. Sometimes in the past, the problem would go away on its own. The car will be running fine. You turn it off to park and go do something and when you come out and turn the car back on again, it starts running rough like it has a bad plug. In the past, the problem would work itself out but the last time it did not. It has started running rough once again and will not clear itself out. I know about the plastic intake manifold on this car. I am not leaking any antifreeze as the levels remain constant. Something is fouling an injector as the one cylinder is not running correctly. What does this problem sound like? Do you have an idea what to look for to correct the problem? Also, a referral to a mechanic that is familiar with this problem and who will not charge an arm and a leg or who wants to rebuild the entire engine. A reponse would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I have a 1998 bonneville, and i thought the two bolts that suport the column where lose but after looking at it it looks like the intermediate shaft joint is moving up and down . Can you give me any ideas where on line i can find how to replace it with illustrations??
