Question: PO120 Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor A Circuit. Fault Code. Please help /remedy?

Check light on appeared when driving.Some roughness when decelerating but not consistent.Concerned with failing emission test.ODO 210K miles. Please help.

    You will automatically fail your SMOG inspection if the check engine light is on. Once you repair the fault, you'll need to drive your car until the computer finishes its self-checks and the monitors are complete. Then it will be ready for the SMOG inspection.
    We can confirm your diagnostics and complete the repair.
