1999 Lincoln Town Car 152,000 mi,
failed emissions due supposedly to egr, but after replaced did not fix, ck engine lt still on, 3-4 yrs prior had same problem, sidle air control valve, this sensor, that sensor, nothing worked after $400 so I said "Forget it". Now i'm in Atlanta and have to pass emission. Still looking for the answer. Next I'm trying EGR Vacuum sensor. There seems to be no "real" diagnosis, just try this and try that just like last time. Nobody knows truly what to do.
