Pinging and Emissions Failure Due to Plugged EGR Tube on Lincoln Town Car

Problem Description and Possible Solution

The EGR tube may plug causing the EGR system to not function at all. As a result, engine pinging may be noted and the vehicle can fail mandated emissions testing.

failed emissions due supposedly to egr, but after replaced did not fix, ck engine lt still on, 3-4 yrs prior had same problem, sidle air control valve, this sensor, that sensor, nothing worked after $400 so I said "Forget it". Now i'm in Atlanta and have to pass emission. Still looking for the answer. Next I'm trying EGR Vacuum sensor. There seems to be no "real" diagnosis, just try this and try that just like last time. Nobody knows truly what to do.
need to remove egr tub but rush hat cut
Idling high then low also burning smell check engine light keep's pop on then of.
my check engine light came on took it to advance they said the EGR valve need to be replaced how can I check to make sure that I needs to replace valve or if its a vacuum leak or plug tube and if I do need to replace it anybody have a good video on a 95 Lincoln town car egr valve replace
did not pass emissions test bad egr replaced egr .cleaned egr filter but how can i test it to see if thats the problem.
