I am an old lady and was faced with a little auto repair job. Called Phase III and oh, my...the man who answered the phone was so wonderful. I explained my problem and he told me what they could do and when to bring the car and the cost of repair. When I got there they were super busy and I figured I would have to wait a long time...no, not the case. They took time away from another job and got mine all done for me. I will be calling them in the future with my repair jobs. Very, very impressed with them

Phase III is by far, in my opinion, the very best auto repair shop in the Green Bay area (if not all of NE Wisconsin). I have taken my past vehicles there (four in total) for the last 12 years and I will be taking my future vehicles there for as long as I live in this part of the state. (I drive 30+ miles now just to bring my cars to their shop for repairs.)

The technicians at the shop are extremely honest, do top-notch work and their labor costs have always been very reasonable. Phase III will never gouge you or try to sell you on something you don't need. In fact, they have corrected problems created by other repair shops in the area and they didn't charge me.

For example, ten years ago I brought my 1991 S-15 Jimmy in to a major tire/brake chain to have my front brake pads and rotors replaced and they messed up a part in the electrical system controlling the ABS. When I took the vehicle back to the franchise to fix the problem, they said the problem wasn't covered by the brake warranty. Consequently, the franchise wanted to charge me a minimum of $150 just to find the problem. Frustrated by this experience, I took my vehicle in to Phase III to see what was wrong and they had the problem fixed in an hour and didn't charge me a dime for the part that the other shop broke (which was around $10) or the labor. (FYI - I am not related to or friends with any of the people at Phase III. They just did this out of their own goodness.)

As another example, last year I brought in a used A/C compressor (in an attempt to save costs -- bad choice) to replace the bad one in my 1996 Chevy Tahoe and Phase III tested it and installed it for me (including the recharge) at very little cost. When the used A/C compressor I gave them failed within two weeks, Phase III got me a new A/C compressor, recharged the system and charged me nothing for labor. The only thing I paid for was the new A/C compressor (which was at cost). They didn't even charge me for the additional freon to recharge the system (because they felt really bad that their intial tests of the used A/C compressor didn't show any problems)!.

Bottom line: If you need repairs, don't go anywhere but to Phase III. You won't regret it!

These guys are the greatest! I have taken both my vehicles to them, and I never feel like they're taking advantage of my lack of knowledge. They are always very honest. Once I took my car in, because it sounded like the brakes were going. It ended up being a peice of rust between the brake pads and the tire.

Another time, I took it in because the oil change guys at Mobile said my transmission fluid was black. And Phase III said it was fine.

I trust Phase III with all my requests. I even took my vehicle in for an quick overhaul inspection before going on a long trip, and they didn't find anything wrong with it. They spent the all that time looking at it and didn't charge me for a thing.
