They do good work and it is all done in a timely manner.
I took my wife's car in and they took 5 days to get the work done, when we got our car back the gas tank was almost empty and the cost for the work was 1600 dollars just for some minor work.
The customer service is really good and repair is reliable. I myself would go to PDR again if God forbid anything happens to my car.
They do a good job that satisfied me and I have already recommend them.
I got good service with no troubles afterwards. I had a flat tire and the place I got it from could not get me in for days but this shop got me in within hours. They are very nice when dealing with them and great customer service. Also my husband was ill so I took it in myself. He explained all my options and that I really appreciate.
I had to rent a car after I took my car in because they wouldn't give me a time that they would have the work done.
They fixed the car very fast, but the car had the same problem within two weeks.
They are reliable.
I frequently go there, they do the work that is needed and they don't try to upsell you to services you don't need.
They are very prompt, do the work that is needed and they are very easy to work with.
They did all of the work they said would be done, and they did a good job at a fair price.
I took my car in with starter problems, they said it was something else. They charged me 60 dollars for a 14 dollar part, and they charged me outrageous prices for work that could have been done in my driveway with a screwdriver.
Reasonably priced, quick service. I really like the multi point inspection.
No hassles, no surprises.
They did a pretty good job on the van.
I received great service from PDR, had lot's of work done and haven't had any problems with the work done on my vehicle.
Best service in town.
They have always been regarded locally as the best diagnostic garage in town and they did not disappoint me.
THEY WERE TIMELY DID A GOOD JOB AND REASONABLE PRICED.
Asked for estimate and list of all repairs needed, got bill for work prior to any estimate. Bill was higher than other shops.
PDR is the best of the Champaign-Urbana car repair places I have been to in diagnosing problems that are difficult to diagnose. They give an estimate for repairs and stick to the estimate. Their repairs are always successful.
My experience with PDR has been very positive. I know that I can trust them to do a great job in taking care of my car. I appreciate having them inspect my car annually and helping me to be aware of any issues with my car that I need to be aware of and estimated cost of taking care of each of those issues,
PDR staff provided very good information on my car and presented all the options available when problems were detected. I trust them to give me accurate information.
I always received excellent service on the phone and with the work you do.
They try to rip you off. They gave me an estimate for a part and repair and said that they got the best parts from US factories. My regular mechanic family friend at home (who owns a shop) had already told me how much it should cost...and I did a quick google search on the exact part they were going to order, too. They tried to charge my over twice as much for the part as it actually cost - my regular mechanic friend and google both said so. And they charge a very steep diagnostics fee...even though my mechanic friend could diagnose the problem over the phone based on warning signals and the type of car that I drive. But PDR automotive had to supposedly run a bunch of computer tests. Finally, I can't be positive, but I'm pretty sure they made the problem worse so that it would take more labor to fix the issue. The warning signals changed after I got the car back from them...indicating that the problem was worse. When I called them over the phone they denied all of this. On the last issue, they said that lifting it might have been the final straw for the issue and it became worse - Even though I had driven it with the problem for a good 100 miles. It seems odd that I drive it a bunch and then take it into the shop and the problem just happens to get worse and they have to do more repair work which equals more money for them.
They check carefully every part of the car.
Honest service and they never try to do unnecessary work.
I spoke with the owner and one of the reasons for going to him was his listed Christian beliefs. I try to patronize those who I BELIEVE love Jesus. When I mentioned another competitor, he seemed to be annoyed. I also sensed some frustration when I began asking questions about the service and how my usual technician at the dealer wasn't available. As a researcher, it is my common practice to obtain as much information as possible in an effort to seek to understand. My line of questioning was to gather information and it is unfortunate that it was met with short responses and an altered tone. In addition, when my car was ready, they were scheduled to be open until noon and the person there said he was closing early because he had somewhere else to be. I had to have my sister pick up my car in an effort to no inconvenience this gentleman. We all have options of where to spend our money and whose service/business we will use. Maybe it was a rough morning for him when we spoke. However, perception matters in business and customer relations.
Good work, fair prices.
Problems diagnosed quickly, contacted by PDR with the explanation and proposed plan for repair, repairs executed, done.
