The passenger window control will move the window down, but not bring it up. What is wrong? Also, my key will lock the doors, but not open them. It will open the trunk, lock all doors and set the alarm, but will not unlock door when pushed. HELP!

2004 BMW 645Ci Question: passenger window control and key control

Unfortunately this is a job for your local BMW dealer as faults are to be checked and accessed by a qualified technician.
Worst case a control unit has failed and requires replacing and programming.
Best case your car is just in need of a battery power reset, programming and coding to bring the control unit back to life and all the control units talking amongst themselves again.

Is a battery power reset something I can do? Or does it have to be done at a dealership?
I also am noticing an issue with my rearview mirror not reacting to night or day settings. It seems it is only recognizing daytime conditions. I have cleaned the photo cell sensors on the front and back of the mirror. Is there something else to do? Is there a battery that needs to be changed? There seems to be a film on the mirror like it is trying to change shades, but it doesn't completely do so.
Confused, but very happy with the car otherwise.
